Judy Conti Dance studio garners national awards

The Judy Conti Dance Studio competition team is preparing for the VIP national dance competition at the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky at the end of June.

The team competed earlier this season at various competitions including VIP, On Stage NY, Starquest and Starbound. It garnered 6 Platinum awards, 31 High Gold awards, 40 Gold awards, and 8 High Silver awards with 34 overall placements.

Team members are Callia Barwick, Alexis Benyo, Jamie Bogdan, Kayla Brahler, Brianna Brocious, Riley Burke, Brittany Capan, Marissa Carbon, Ashlyn Carzoo, Madison Connolly, McKenna Connolly, Elise Dundics, Taya El-Hayek, Makenzie Elias, Elizabeth Fabrizio, Gabi Gessler, Olivia Gessler, Lindsey Green, Terry Guisler, Brittany Hause, Madelyn Kist, Gia Kosmo, Madeline Krasnasky, Angela Krpicak, Madison Landgraff, Emily Lisowski, Alyssandra Moore, Ashley Moore, Aynnalise Moore, Aleah Pflug, Allie Pugh, Krista Romano, Taylor Schmitt, Mia Sciortino, Tiffany Shirilla, Amanda Shuluga, Kimberly Simpach, Brittany Skelton, Candace Smith, Jen Smith, Kaitlyn Smith, Gina Stephenson, Lauryn Todd, Carle Tofil, Mackenzie Tofil, Taylor Tofil and Carly Zinni.

The studio’s annual dance recital be at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.
