Flag retirement set

LOWELLVILLE

American Legion Post 247 will conduct a flag retirement ceremony at 7 p.m. Thursday in front of Lowellville City Hall.

Residents may drop off worn or damaged American Flags at the side entrance of the hall.

Inducted as officers of the post for the coming year were Fred Romeo, commander; Everett Oliver, first vice commander; Bob Renninger, second vice commander; James Miletta, sergeant-at-arms; Vince Bellanca, finance officer; Gerald Ferencak, adjutant; Lloyd Edwards, service officer; and Vince Belanca, chaplain.
