Bear spotted in Poland

Poland Village Police received about 20 calls this morning reporting a bear sighting.

The sightings have been reported near Audubon Road and Windemere Drive.

Police Chief Russell Beatty Jr. said police have not spotted the bear, but they've seen damage and other evidence of his existence.

The chief said those who have seen the bear describe as at least 5-feet tall.

"He's tall enough to get into bird feeders," Beatty said.
