Artists of Rust Belt plan blues festival

YOUNGSTOWN

Artists of the Rust Belt will host a Blues and Art festival at the B&O Station, 502 Mahoning Ave., downtown, from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Five bands will perform, and artists will set up stations. Rust Belt Brewing will sell several of its beers, and local vendors will offer food.

The artists will feature a chance auction with donated pieces of their artwork. Proceeds will benefit The Purple Cat program for adults with disabilities. For more information, go to artistsoftherustbelt.com.

Theater offers ‘Snow White’

CHAMPION

Kent-Trumbull Theater Summer Stock will present “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.”

The play, written and directed by Patricia M. Fagan, follows the adventure of Snow White and the unique characters she meets in the forest.

The performmance, along with a magic show by Gary Morton, will be presented in lecture hall A at Kent State Trumbull Campus, 4314 Mahoning Ave. NW at 7 p.m. Friday and June 25; and at 10:30 a.m. June 21 through 25.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students, seniors and children.
