1080 Media now 8-1 in Class B League

Tyler Chapin gave up one run on three hits over four innings and 1080 Media pounded out 11 singles to beat Youngstown Express, 8-1, in Class B action on Monday.

The game score also matched the record (8-1) of 1080, whose reliever, Will Frazier, pitched three shutout innings.

Chris Zadrowski led the attack with three hits and two RBIs. Joe Aulizia had three hits and scored a run while Mick Manser added two hits, two runs and an RBI. Dave DiBernardi had a double and drove home Sean Mancino for the lone Express run.

Rondinelli 11, Action 0

STRUTHERS

Aaron McGee of Rondinelli Tuxedo had a one-hit shutout against Action Physical Therapy in a six-inning game in which McGee struck out nine and walked two.

Zack Stein, Adam Shrodak and Jake Double had two hits apiece and combined for six RBIs and four runs scored. Zack Palumbo had Action’s lone hit.
