Park taking applications for Adventure Day Camp

Boardman Park is taking applications for Adventure Day Camp, which starts June 21 and runs through Aug. 13.

The program focuses on arts and crafts, team building, theater, science and sports. The goal of the camp is to offer young minds the opportunity to explore their imagination, discover physical fitness, expand their knowledge of sports and develop a growing sense of adventure through diverse activities.

The Adventure Camp will run in four sessions: June 21 through July 2, July 5 through July 16, July 19 through July 3 and Aug. 2 through Aug. 13.

Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Arrangements may be made for those in need of early or late pickup.

Children who have completed kindergarten through age 12 are eligible for the camp.

Registration packets may be picked up at the park office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or online at boardmanpark.com. There is a discount for those who register by Wednesday. Deadline for the first session is Friday.
