Bingo for residents
STRUTHERS
Struthers Ladies of the K. of C. 4224 will host a bingo party at 7 p.m. Monday for the residents of Struthers Manor, 585 Poland Ave.
Members of the K. of C. are asked to take four or five wrapped gifts for prizes.
Masons honored by Scottish Rite
DAYTON
Jesse L. Boles Jr. and William C. Boles were honored by the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite at the annual meeting of the Ohio Council of Deliberation in Dayton on June 5.
They were selected to receive the Meritorious Service Award at the annual meeting of the Ohio Council of Deliberation to take place on June 3 and 4, 2011, in Cleveland.
The brothers are lifelong members of William Farr Lodge No. 672 in Girard, and William is a past master of that lodge.
They have been longtime members of the Valley of Youngstown’s Stage Crew, with William serving as chairman. They have worked on the Stage Crew for many years.
Band alumni plan reunion and picnic
POLAND
The Warren Junior Military Band Alumni will have its annual summer picnic and reunion from 2 p.m. until dusk Saturday at the Fireman’s Field Park on Riverside Drive.
Those attending are asked to take a covered dish or dessert to share, along with table service, drinks and a lawn chair.
