Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. What: “Baobab Blast — God’s Great Get-Together” is the theme.

What: “High Seas Expedition, Exploring the Mighty Love of God” is the theme.

Details: The free program is open to preschoolers through sixth graders. Families may join in at 11:35 a.m. each day for the “Floating Finale.” A family picnic will be at noon Friday. What: The theme is “Galactic Blast: A Cosmic Adventure Praising God.”

What: “Son Quest Rainforest” is the theme.

Where: St. Rose School, 68 E. Main St.
Details: Children in kindergarten through sixth grade (grade level currently finishing) may attend. Registration will be accepted through Monday at the church rectory. What: “Let’s Go Green for Jesus.”

Who: Pilgrim Baptist Church.
What: “Step Up and Go Green for Jesus” is the theme.
When: 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 21-25.

Details: The program, which is free, will offer youth and adult classes that will focus on raising environmental and community awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles and learning to reduce, reuse and recycle.
Who: St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
What: The theme is “Wade in the Water.”
When: 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.
