Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. Who: Canfield Presbyterian Church.

What: “Baobab Blast — God’s Great Get-Together” is the theme.

When: 9 a.m. to noon June 21-25.

Where: Church, 140 W. Main St., Canfield.

What: “High Seas Expedition” is the theme.

When: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Where: Church, 7155 Glenwood Blvd., Youngstown.

Details: The program for children age 3 through the sixth grade will feature music, Bible lessons, crafts, games and refreshments. For more information, call the church at 330-726-6800.

Who: Churchill United Methodist Church.

What: “High Seas Expedition, Exploring the Mighty Love of God” is the theme.

When: 9 a.m. to noon June 21-25.

Where: Church, 189 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, Liberty.

Details: The free program is open to preschoolers through sixth graders. Families may join in at 11:35 a.m. each day for the “Floating Finale.” A family picnic will be at noon Friday. There will be crafts, music, Bible study and games. Register on the first day or by calling the church at 330-759-0118.

Who: Fowler and Vienna United Methodist churches.

What: The theme is “Galactic Blast: A Cosmic Adventure Praising God.”

When: 9 a.m. to noon June 21-25.

Where: Vienna UMC, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna.

Who: Girard area churches.

What: “Son Quest Rainforest” is the theme.

When: June 21-25.

Where: St. Rose School, 68 E. Main St.

Details: Children in kindergarten through sixth grade (grade level currently finishing) may attend. Registration will be accepted through Monday at the church rectory. Who: Phillips Chapel Church of God in Christ.

What: “Let’s Go Green for Jesus.”

When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Where: Church, 3903 Jacobs Road SE, Hubbard.

Details: For participants age 4 to 17. Registration will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

Who: Pilgrim Baptist Church.

What: “Step Up and Go Green for Jesus” is the theme.

When: 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 21-25.

Where: Church, 67 McClure St., Struthers.

Details: The program, which is free, will offer youth and adult classes that will focus on raising environmental and community awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles and learning to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Who: St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church.

What: The theme is “Wade in the Water.”

When: 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.

Where: Church, 709 Milton Blvd., Newton Falls.
