Johnson re-elected Columbiana County GOP chairman

LISBON — David W. Johnson, the chairman of the newly constituted Columbiana County Republican Central Committee, has been re-elected as the county party chairman.

Adam Booth was elected vice chairman, Susan Johnston was elected secretary and Jennifer Arnold was elected treasurer.

Johnson has served as GOP chairman for a total of 16 years, during which he also has served as a member of the county board of elections.

He also is the 30th District Republican State Committeeman, which covers a five-county region. He has had that position since 1996.

Booth first was elected to his party post in 2007. He also serves as the director of the county elections board.
