Stadium Drive fourth-graders graduate

Graduating from elementary school is an important academic achievement in Boardman.

Stadium Drive Elementary held its annual fourth-grade graduation ceremony June 3 in the school auditorium. Parents and friends were invited to witness the fourth-graders being recognized for scholastic achievement.

Each student was called to the podium to receive a certificate and their first official Boardman Center or Glenwood Middle School T-shirt.

Other awards received were the National Association of Elementary School Principals’ Citizenship Award and the President’s Academic Awards Achievement and Excellence.

The President’s Achievement Awards were given to students who received all A’s and B’s throughout the school year. The President’s Excellence Award was for students who received all A’s and only one B,

Following the graduation assembly, students were allotted time to spend with their families.
