Boardman Library held its weekly Family Story time June 2 for the whole family. The children listened to the librarian read books and participated in interactive songs.
They also played games such as parachute and tag. After the reading and physical activities, story time participants made flowers for their parents. They had to decorate a funnel, which was the bell of the flower, and attach it to the end of a colored tongue depressor.
The next Family Story Time will be held Wednesday. Participants will make a special Father’s Day gift for their dad during the arts and craft portion.
Programs for children of all ages are held each week at the library. For information, visit www.libraryvisit.org.
