Scholarship picnic will honor winners

New WILMINGTON, PA.

A picnic on the porch of the Wilmington Township Building will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday to honor the 2010 Civic League scholarship winners.

This year there are two scholarships, one high school and one college. Each scholarship is $750.

All are invited to see the new gardens and to congratulate the scholarship winners. Take an appetizer or vegetable and your table service, and the Civic League board will provide ham and chicken, drinks and strawberry shortcake.
