The number of call-center employees in the Mahoning Valley continues to increase, as InfoCision Management Corp. prepares to hire additional workers for its local branches.
The Akron-based company is looking to hire 200 employees to work at its call centers in Boardman and Austintown. InfoCision already employs nearly 1,400 in the area.
InfoCision hopes to complete the hiring process as soon as possible to meet a significant increase in client demand, Matt Feltrup, a company spokesman, said Wednesday.
About 100 job-seekers attended open interviews at the two locations Wednesday, Feltrup said.
This is InfoCision’s second major hiring this year for the Boardman and Austintown call centers. In March, the company added 400 workers at those sites.
The new jobs will add to a local call-center work force of more than 4,000. Local call centers XVI Global Solutions and West Corp. also added workers this year.
