Weight-loss fund-raiser for food bank

Corner House Christian Church, 6954 Chestnut Ridge Road, will sponsor a Pound for Pound Pledge community program to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.

Participants must register at www.pfpchallenge.com and give their ZIP code. Participants also will be asked to give the number of pounds they pledge to lose.

“The Biggest Loser,” a national television program shown on NBC, will credit Second Harvest with 14 cents for each pound of weight.
