Albert Miranda Jr. of Niles announces the engagement of his daughter, Teresa Marie Miranda, to Eric Carl Swanson of Howland. Miss Miranda is also the daughter of the late Sandra Miranda.

The prospective groom is the son of Mary Ellen Swanson of Liberty and the late Charles E. Swanson Sr.

The bride-elect is employed by Dick’s Sporting Goods of Niles.

Her fianc is a lieutenant for the city of Youngstown Fire Department and is employed by Squaw Creek-Avalon Golf and Country Club as a groundskeeper.

Plans are being made for a July 31 wedding at New Life Lutheran Church in Liberty.
