Mexican killed in Border Patrol clash to be buried
SAN DIEGO (AP) — A Mexican man who died after being shocked by a stun gun during a fight with U.S. Border Patrol agents will be buried in San Diego.
Anastasio Hernandez will be buried Wednesday after a funeral service.
The 42-year-old father of five U.S.-born children came to the U.S. when he was 14.
San Diego police say Hernandez attacked agents May 28 as they were escorting him to a border gate to return him to Mexico.
Hernandez is the second person killed recently by Border Patrol agents.
An agent fatally shot a 15-year-old Mexican boy near El Paso, Texas, on Tuesday.
Mexico has condemned the use of force against both men.
