REUNIONS | Former classmates plan to meet

The 88th annual Isaac Anderson and Lydia Warner reunion will be June 26 in the Memorial Shelter at Grove City Memorial Park on state Route 58, north of Grove City, Pa. Those attending are asked to take table settings, casseroles and desserts; beverages will be provided. There will be coffee at 11 a.m. and the meal at noon followed by games and fellowship.

Mineral Ridge High School Alumni will have a banquet June 26 at the high school cafeteria. A 5:30 p.m. social will be followed by a buffet dinner at 6:30. Members of the 1960 and 2010 classes will be honored guests, and there will be entertainment, raffles and a Chinese auction. The cost is $18 in advance. Missionaries of the Sacred Heart will host a reunion weekend July 23-25 in Shelby, Canton and Youngstown. The event will begin at 3 p.m. July 23 at the former Sacred Heart Seminary (now Abraxas, Ohio), and will include a prayer service and potluck gathering at 5 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, 117 Sandusky St., Plymouth. On July 24 from 2 to 5 p.m., there will be a pig roast and social gathering at Sandy Valley Community Park, 10018 Cleveland Ave., Magnolia. The speaker will be Lana Kontos, certified health educator, who will discuss the link between diet and disease.
