All Starz Sports Grille, located in the Quality Inn and Suites, 4055 Belmont Ave., is described by Scott Kifer, hotel manager, as a sports restaurant with a bar.
The family- and traveler-friendly restaurant had its grand opening Monday.
Co-owners Steve Horvat, Nick Maus and Chris Sforza lease the space from Quality Inn.
A variety of booths and tables offer viewing sites to the 21 high-definition television sets, which are tuned to a range of sports events all the time.
Hours are from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Saturday.
The kitchen closes at 11 p.m.
All Starz employs 32 people.
Horvat created the “Heavy Weight” on the menu — a 3.2-pound hot dog piled with coleslaw, saukerkraut, mustard, chili, cheese, onions and relish. If you can eat the dog, which comes with fries, in 25 minutes, it’s free, and you get your name listed under the Dog Pound sign. You also get a T-shirt.
