Sheen expected to plead guilty to misdemeanor
ASPEN, Colo. (AP) — Charlie Sheen is expected to plead guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge in exchange for prosecutors dropping felony menacing and criminal mischief charges.
An attorney for Sheen’s wife, Yale Galanter, says today that the deal calls for Sheen to serve a 30-day jail sentence and serve three months probation. During his jail term, he says Sheen will be released during the day so he can work at a local theater company.
