YOUNGSTOWN

Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 388 E. Midlothian Blvd., and its Happy Campers Learning Center will host a family fun day from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The event will include food, fun, games and prizes. Participants may obtain information about the summer youth program for toddlers to 12-year-olds.

Dog-training event

The Learning Dog Training and Enrichment Center, 6883 Commerce Drive, has scheduled an open house from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Owners and trainers are Katie Costello and Jenny Falvey, who have more than 20 years of training dogs and working with pet and shelter dogs.

The center will offer private and group lessons, seminars and other animal-activity events. A contest is under way to name the center’s logo dog.

Summer feeding

YOUNGSTOWN

The summer feeding program at West Side Community Center, 304 Matt Ave., will be from 10 a.m. to noon June 14 to Aug. 19 for 5- to 18-year-olds.

The program includes Bible time, games and crafts, nutrition and recycling education, storytelling, lunch and trips to the YMCA.

Registration will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the center. A parent must attend to register the child.
