Gallery plans summer workshops

The Art Outreach Gallery in Eastwood Mall is hosting summer workshops and children’s programs June 21-July 31.

Eighty-six workshops are scheduled, including yoga for kids, French and Italian language classes, story-telling featuring Scrappy, making recycled paper, film making, creative art and acting.

The workshops are designed for students age 3 to 18.

There is no fee for the workshops, but students are asked to donate a non-perishable food item to Second Harvest Food Bank. Space and supplies are limited. Students must register to enter the classes.

The gallery is seeking donations of art supplies such as watercolor and acrylic paints, paint brushes, drawing paper, markers, crayons, pencils, ink and colored pencils.
