Women artists to display works

YOUNGSTOWN

The YWCA of Youngstown’s 28th annual Women Artists: A Celebration Art Show will be available for public viewing from June 19 to July 23 at the McDonough Museum of Art at Youngstown State University, 525 Wick Ave.

Dr. Hilary Robinson, dean of the college of fine arts at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, was juror for the show, Suzanne Anzellotti-Ray and Brenda Myers Cohen are co-chairwomen.

A public preview party will be from 7 to 9 p.m. June 19 at McDonough. There will be live music by Classical Strings, a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres and approximately $1,000 in merit prizes will be awarded. General admission is $35 and $10 for a students with valid IDs. Tickets will be sold at the door or in advance by calling 330-746-6361.
