Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center will have a guided labyrinth walk from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 16.

The labyrinth is a tool for enriching the spiritual journey.

Sister Therese Pavilonis will offer a brief history and introduction before the walk.

No registration is required but is appreciated.

Free-will offerings will be accepted.

Summer reading

Pastor Ric Schumacher will begin a summer reading group with “God Never Blinks” at 7 p.m. June 18 at Unity Church Centre, 1226 Naylor Lloyd Road. In the book, Cleveland Plain Dealer writer Regina Brett reflects on 50 life lessons.

Jesus “The Key” Ministry is sponsoring a summer trip June 29-30 to Lancaster, Pa. There will be a tour of Amish country and a stop at the Dutch Apple Inn to see “The King and I.” The cost is $229.

Adult minischool

The Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, is collaborating with the JCC of Pittsburgh to participate with the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School.

The school for adult Jewish learning provides the opportunity to acquire a foundation in Jewish knowledge in a systematic way over two years.

The two-hour class will meet once a week for 30 weeks at JCC. Field trips and cultural events also may be included. The program must have 15 participants to go forward.
