Garden wedding for Miss Diorio and Mr. Furano

The engagement of Tina Marie Diorio, a daughter of Dr. William and Charlotte Diorio of Poland, and Anthony Osvaldo Furano, a son of Osvaldo and Antoinette Furano of Poland, is announced by her parents.

Also announced are plans for the couple’s July 2 wedding. They will exchange nuptial vows during a 12:30 p.m. ceremony at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park and accept congratulations during a reception at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. Invitations will be issued for both.

Miss Diorio graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University and with a master’s degree in English from Youngstown State University. She is a 10th-grade English teacher at Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow in Columbus.

Mr. Furano is an electrical engineer with Roth Bros. in Youngstown. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Cincinnati and received an advanced degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif.
