Date announced for Detec-Brown summer rite

The engagement of Leah Detec and Mathew Brown, both of Niles, is announced by their parents, David and Beth Detec of Girard, Judy Brown of McDonald and David Brown of Warren.

Miss Detec graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s in actuarial science and minor in business administration.

Mr. Brown is an appraiser with Tricomi and Associates in Warren. He attended Kent State University.

An open wedding has been planned by the couple for 2 p.m. July 10 at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.
