1080 Media wins by shutout in Class B

Justin Summers pitched a one-hit shutout as 1080 Media defeated Dave Sugar Excavating, 6-0, in the Class B League on Friday.

Summers struck out 11 while walking only two. He helped his own cause on with two hits, including a double. Brock Bogan also had two hits.

Nick Benson had the lone hit for Sugar.

Astro Falcons 9, Wharmby Sports 3

Ron Sullivan picked up the victory for Astro, going 61/3 innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, and he struck out six.

Ryan Trimbur and Josh Gore each had two hits for Astro, with Gore hitting a triple.

Anthony Paris had two hits and drove in two runs for Wharmby. Mike Hartman and Tyler Gentile each added two hits.

Rondinelli 9, Livi 1

Nick Manupelli went the distance in the win for Rondinelli, giving up three hits and striking out 10 on Wednesday.

Dan Ferguson had three hits for Rondinelli, including a double, and had two RBIs. Phil Lipari had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs, while Ed Reese had a double and two RBIs

Astro Falcons 11, Youngstown Express 1

Kolin Stanley pitched a complete game, allowing three hits on Wednesday.

John Beatty, Gerrod Rohan, Tim Cheslik, and Josh Gore each had two hits for Astro, and Rohan and Cheslik both had two RBIs.
