Last week: The Hartford native had a quick day in Concord, N.C., for the May 30 Coca-Cola 600. Blaney, who started in 17th place, lasted just 26 laps before taking his car to garage.

Season to date: Blaney is in 41st place in the Sprint Cup standings, 18 points behind David Stremme.

Next: NASCAR’s top series heads to eastern Pennsylvania for the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500 at Long Pond, Pa., on Sunday. TV coverage (TNT) starts at noon.
