CMA Awards show to air live on ABC

NASHVILLE, Tenn.

The 44th annual CMA Awards will be Nov. 10 this year. The Country Music Association said in a Thursday news release that the show will air live on ABC from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

More than 17 million viewers tuned in to watch the show last year when Taylor Swift won entertainer of the year and three other awards. It was the biggest Wednesday audience for ABC in nonsports programming in more than four years.
