Kindergartners’ performance salutes the military

School colors were swapped for red, white and blue in a patriotic-themed performance from students.
Stadium Drive Elementary hosted a kindergarten show May 28 for parents, friends and military service members. Students performed several musical selections corresponding with its patriotic theme.
A slide show featuring photos honoring men and women in the military was shown during the performance. The soldier, sailor, airman or marine were shown as their branch’s anthem was played. All four branches were represented.
Following the performance, parents were invited to the kindergarten classrooms for refreshments with their kids. Each student made a memory book containing a picture of them on their first day and writing samples showing their progression through the school year.
