Kids can register for Camp JCC

The Youngstown Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, is now registering children for summer activities at Camp JCC. Its 10 weeks of summer fun offered in one week affordable sessions.
Summer camp is for children in grades one to five and offers swimming, tennis, basketball, aerobics, dance, volleyball, soccer and much more. Campers also can go horseback-riding, attend art camp and take field trips to Mill Creek Park, Pioneer Water-land and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
Adventure Camp is for children in grades six to eight and also offers swimming, tennis, basketball and fitness. Campers also will take cooking classes, explore the science of roller coasters and create a summer-camp movie. Adventure campers can take field trips to Hershey Park and Cedar Point, go white-water rafting at Ohiopyle State Park and take in a Pittsburgh Pirates game.
