ASSOCIATIONS
Trumbull Retired Teachers Association will meet Tuesday at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles. Scholarships will be presented to 10 students chosen by Ruby Hawkins, Una Ford and Joyce Faiver. TRTA has awarded 36 scholarships to students from 14 school districts since 2007. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Byo will present musical entertainment. Those attending are asked to wear red for Flag Day. The TRTA spelling bee will be at 1 p.m. July 11 at Trumbull County Fairgrounds. Luncheon reservations ($10.50) are to be sent to Mary Novotny, 5799 Sarah Ave. N.W., Warren, OH 44483. CLASSES
Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet at 9:30 p.m. Monday for breakfast at Denny’s Restaurant, U.S. Route 224, Boardman. All classmates are invited.
Girard High School Class of 1954 will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. Monday at Amen Corner. Future meetings will be the first Monday of each month at the same time and place, unless a holiday falls on that day. Spouses are welcome.
Woodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. Members of the classes of 1946 and 1948 are welcome.
CLUBS
Mahoning Valley Stamp Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. The club meets the second Thursday of each month.
McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
Warren Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Bag Lady” luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 14 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road N.E., Warren. The program will feature Sandy Roeccher sharing her handbags and bracelets and Nancy Williams speaking on “You are priceless” and singing. The cost is $12 per person.
