Boardman groups stress the positive

Three organizations — two foundations and one civic group — aim to promote positive aspects about the community and raise funds for projects.

The announcement of the formation of the Boardman Community Foundation came at the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber’s Good Morning Boardman event Friday at Antone’s.

“We’re interested in raising money not just for today but, more importantly, for tomorrow,” said James Rosa, president of the non-profit foundation.

It’s partnering with the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley.
