Tuition, room and board going up at YSU in the fall

YOUNGSTOWN — It looks like tuition is going up for Youngstown State University students this fall — and so is the cost of room and board.

The Finance and Facilities Committee of the university’s Board of Trustees approved both increases — 3.5 percent for tuition and 2.7 percent for room and board — today. The issue now goes before the full board which meets next Friday at 3 p.m.
