Summer day camps are offered

The D.D. and Velma Davis Family YMCA is offering a variety of day camps for children from June 14 to Aug. 20.

Camp Curiosity, an art and science-based camp for children 6 to 10, is scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; and Camp Neehi, for those 3 to 5, will be offered Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The per-week cost for the three-day programs at both camps is $35 for members and $50 for nonmembers. The two-day Camp Neehi program is $25 for members and $40 for nonmembers per week.

A traditional 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. day camp for children 6 to 13 is $110 for members and $138 for nonmembers per week. There is a one-time registration fee of $25 per child. A second child discount and extended hours and daily rates are available.
