Gay Pride Festival is scheduled for Saturday

The second annual Pride Festival will be Saturday on West Federal Street, downtown.

The event is sponsored by Pride Youngstown, the Mahoning Valley’s gay-lesbian-bisexual-transgender awareness organization.

Saturday’s festival will begin at 1 p.m. on West Federal Street, which will be blocked off to traffic between Central Square and Hazel Street.

Entertainers include drag impersonators, including Shannel. Other performers will include Nikita Jones, Alexis Antes, Rustbelt Singers, Oakland Center for the Arts Singers, True Colors, Ricky Vega, Trinity Vine, Blaze Styles, Roxas, Page Taylor, Sahvere Dereonn, D’Asia, Sintia Fontaine, The Youngstown Pride Festival Chorus, Brittany Cheers and Fiona Love.

There will also be vendors and concessions.
