African-American Festival will celebrate its 25th year
WARREN
The 25th annual African-American Festival will be Friday through Sunday at Courthouse Square, downtown, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
The festival, presented by the Trumbull County African-American Achievers Association, will begin at noon Friday with a ceremony. There will be rides, games, food stands, arts and crafts, health information and voter registration.
Friday entertainment will be Patty L. and Da Doll House Singers, 4 p.m.; The World Is Your Entertainment, 5:35 p.m.; open mic with Stefano, 6:30 p.m.; Karla Seldon, 8 p.m.
Saturday: parade, noon; DJ Jay Al, 1 p.m.; Blaq Diamond and TuLuv Entertainment, 2 p.m.; talent show, 3 p.m.; Patty L., 6:15 p.m.; Eboni Watson, 7:30 p.m.; Youngstown’s Total Package Band, featuring Karla Seldon, 8 p.m.
Sunday: gospel choirs, 3-7 p.m.; raffle, 7:15 p.m.; gospel jazz, 8 p.m.
