Youngstown Shrine Club, South Range Road, North Lima, will have its 6th annual Thomas (Sarge) Eddy Memorial “Rise and Shrine” Charity Bike Run on Saturday, with sign up at 10 a.m. and first bike out at noon.
The cost is $15 per person and includes a chicken sandwich or hamburger, pasta salad, chips, desserts and beverages. There will be a Chinese auction, a disc jockey and door prizes.

Diaper drive set by Playgroup Pals

Austintown Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave., will be the setting from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. today for a Diaper Drive conducted by the Playground Pals to raise community awareness for children living in poverty.
Available for a minimum donation of two diapers per child will be the choice of skating, laser tag, bumper cars, web city and miniature golf. Additional activities will be $2 each.
All diapers collected at various drop off locations will be donated to the Youngstown and Warren rescue missions. For more information on drop off sites, call 330-979-3288.
MVP 20/30 mixer

MVP 20/30 will sponsor its second annual Mingling in Mill Creek Mixer from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 17 at the Davis Center’s Garden Cafe in Fellows Riverside Garden at Mill Creek Park.
The regional networking event for young professionals will feature a sneak peak at the organization’s new look and new membership packages. There also will be complimentary wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres .

Mahoning River Consortium has scheduled a 31-mile river-wide picnic for June 12. For more information on the event visit www.mahoningriver.com.
