YSU dean leaving to accept post at Pa. university

EDINBORO, Pa. — The dean of Youngstown State University’s Beeghly College of Education is leaving the university to take on the role of provost and vice president for academic affairs at Edinboro University beginning July 1.

“I really do leave with mixed feelings. I love this place,” Philip Ginnetti said today. It was a hard decision but it’s a great opportunity, he added.

Ginnetti was selected after a national search, said Jeremy D. Brown, Edinboro president. He will succeed Pearl Bartelt, who retired from Edinboro earlier this year.
