Pa. couple charged with running meth lab at their home
PITTSBURGH (AP) — A suburban Pittsburgh couple is charged with running a meth lab in the home that they shared with their 6-week-old son.
Police say 38-year-old James Hess and 21-year-old Ashley See were charged today with manufacturing meth, conspiracy and other charges. Authorities found the baby on a bed in the living room and the meth lab in the basement of their McKeesport home.
State police were called in to dismantle the lab.
Hess and See were are in Allegheny County jail. It wasn’t immediately clear if they had attorneys. Police say Hess also has an outstanding warrant from Tennessee.
The baby was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
