The wedding of Jennifer Parfel and Mike Witmer, both of Lisbon, took place at 1:30 p.m. May 1 at St. Jude Church.
Duane Parfel and Dave and Sandy Williams, all of Louisville, are the bride’s parents, and the groom is a son of Rich and Margie Witmer of Columbiana.
The Rev. Tom Ziegler solemnized the ceremony, and a reception followed in the church hall.
The couple honeymooned in Aruba and are living in Lisbon.
The bride’s white strapless gown featured pearl and pink floral accents.
The groom’s sister, Meghan Witmer, was maid of honor, and matron of honor was Dana Parfel, the bride’s sister-in-law. Bridesmaids were Nicole Witmer, the groom’s sister-in-law, and Elizabeth Palette. They wore watermelon-pink gowns. Flower girl was Isabelle Parfel, niece of the bride.
Rich Witmer served as best man for his brother, and lead groomsman was Dan Horck. Matt Fullerton also served as a groomsman, and ring bearers were Clay Parfel, nephew of the bride; Cyrus Witmer, nephew of the groom; and Ethan Davis, his godson. Ushers were Chris Parfel, the bride’s brother, and Chris Bader.
Mrs. Witmer, a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management, is a project coordinator with B&J Electric of Poland in North Lima, where her husband is a journeyman/foreman electrician. He graduated from the state apprenticeship program as a journeyman electrician.
