Forum Health has hearing Wednesday morning in federal bankruptcy court

YOUNGSTOWN — An expedited hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court to determine if Forum Health can continue to use its cash collateral to operate.

The hearing, approved by Judge Kay Woods, shortened the time for objections, which must be filed with the court by 9:30 a.m. Wednesday or presented in person at the hearing.

Forum Health, which is in negotiations with Tennessee-based Ardent Health Services to buy the hospital system, filed for bankruptcy in March 2009.
