Lists of Vacation Bible Schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. Who: Abundant Life Fellowship.

What: The theme is “Undefeated Mega Sports Camp.”

When: 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Where: Church, 46469 state Route 46, New Waterford.

Details: The free community event is for children, age 4 to 12, and will include Bible lessons, athletic competitions, music and food. On Friday, there will be a program and refreshments. For information, call the church office at 330-457-7317.

Who: Mahoning United Methodist Church.

What: The theme is “Veggie Tales – The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything.”

When: 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 9-13.

Where: Church, 2214 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown.

Details: The program is for children 4 years old through those who have completed sixth grade. Children may register the first and second nights. The program is free but an offering will be taken each night for missions. For more information, call 330-799-5318 or 330-797-1477.

Who: Our Lady of Hungary Church.

What: Vacation Bible school.

When: 5 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 16-19.

Where: Church, 545 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown.

Details: The free program is for children from kindergarten through sixth grade. Registration deadline is 2 p.m. Aug. 12. Call the parish office at 330-799-6829.
