Rotary club honors fireworks show sponsors

The Rotary Club of Canfield honored community business members who helped make this year’s Fourth of July fireworks possible at its most recent meeting.

Event chairperson, Sam Boak, presented those business people with souvenirs from the event and extended his congratulations on a successful community project.

Some 35,000 people entered the Canfield Fairgrounds, along with the thousands who watched from their homes and businesses throughout the area.

The Rotary Club of Canfield has sponsored the community fireworks for three years. The club promotes numerous local and international service projects throughout the year.

Rotary meets every Friday at noon at Fair Park in Canfield.
