Fashion has changed over the years, but the historical society is bringing the past to the present.

The Canfield Historical Society Bond House is showcasing clothing donated by the Chambers family dating from the Civil War era through the 1920s. The wardrobe is being displayed at the Bond House, Saturdays from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., and at the library during normal business hours. The historical items will remain on display through the end of the month.

The Canfield Historical Society will sponsor a narrative series beginning Sept. 9. Each session will focus on a different topic. The first will explore the pictorial history of sheet and tube. For information, contact the Bond House at 330-533-3458.
