Grant recipient

Youngstown

The employees of the Boardman branch of Trustmark have chosen the Sojourner House Domestic Violence Shelter as a recipient of a $5,000 grant for 2010.

A portion of The Trustmark Foundation’s national budget is set aside for regional employees to make charitable contribution to local agencies. Nominations are submitted from employees each year to determine how the local funds will be distributed. The check was presented Tuesday by Polly Johnson and co-workers from Trustmark at the Burdman Group’s administrative offices.

The Trustmark Foundation, established in 1984, actively supports community involvement through program donations and volunteerism. The foundation distributed nearly $1.21 million in cash and gifts-in-kind in 2009.
