REUNIONS | Former classmates, families plan to meet

Chaney High School classes of 1943 and 1944 are having a reunion, and the deadline to sign up is Friday. The reunion will be Aug. 7 at the Saxon Club Pavilion, 710 S. Meridian Road. The O’Conner Reunion will take place at Grove City Park on Sunday. Take a covered dish and dessert as well as a wrapped gift for a bingo prize. A basket raffle also will take place. Those who like to arrive early will meet at 11 a.m. Lunch will be about 1 p.m.

South High School’s 40th reunion fundraiser will begin at 6 p.m. Aug. 7 at Heron’s Landing Clubhouse, 6000 Heron Blvd., Austintown, off of New Road. The cost of the Wine Sip and T-Shirt Night is $15 at the door, cash only. Respond by Sunday with the number who will attend.
