Police were called at about 11:45 a.m. Sunday to the 1900 block of Oriel Rogers Road, where an 86-year-old man reported a break-in and the theft of a blue, green and white cooler that contained prescription medications for his wife and him. The burglary, which occurred sometime Saturday night, also involved the theft of Twinkies and cupcakes.

After tracking by the Liberty police dog to a nearby residence, police arrested a 14-year-old male, who was taken to Trumbull County Juvenile Center. Police released a 15-year-old male from Youngstown to his mother. The teens told police that they had found the cooler but would not say how the empty pill bottles got into household trash at the residence. Police found Twinkies and cupcakes and wrappers at the residence.
