“Mad Men” (10 p.m., AMC): Change is in the air as “Mad Men” returns for its fourth season. When we last saw Don Draper (Jon Hamm), he was dealing with major upheaval in the workplace and on the home front — all as the nation was reeling from the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Now we find Don dealing with the fallout from his failed marriage to Betty (January Jones), while also struggling to drum up business for his new ad company. As we delve deeper into the ’60s, something tells us even more turbulence lies ahead.

Sausage-eating contest at festival
YOUNGSTOWN
The 2nd annual Mahoning County sausage-eating championship will be 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Youngstown Italian Festival, downtown. Entry fee is $100
DiRusso Sausage is the major sponsor of the event, which benefits D&E Counseling Center’s Linkages Program, which provides depression education and suicide-prevention services to teenagers.

Canine carnival at Conneaut Lake
CONNEAUT LAKE PARK, PA.
The Canine Carnival will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 7 at Conneaut Lake Park. Scheduled events include Meet the Breeds, an information session; an agility demonstration by the Tamarack Dog Agility Club; a costume contest at noon; and the crowning of the Queen and King. There also will be owner/canine games; fee is $1 per event.
