Stephanie A. Sinkovich and Robert J. Gartland II were united in marriage at 2 p.m. April 10 at St. Christine Church. Monsignor David Rhodes officiated, and an evening reception took place at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

The bride is a daughter of Carol and Robert Sinkovich of Youngstown. Parents of the groom are Nancy and Robert Gartland of Austintown.

The bride wore an A-line gown with a chapel-length train, sweetheart neckline and fingertip veil.

The matron of honor was Melissa Knickerbocker, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Melissa Hicklin, Rebecca DePietro, Mary Rufer and Leah Rodden. Flower girls were Audrey Knickerbocker, niece of the bride, Samantha Vuksanovich and Olivia Vuksanovich.

Best man was Brian Gartland, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Eric Vuksanovich, Mark Vuksanovich, Michael Stretanski and Dennis Gartland, cousin of the groom. Serving as ring bearer was Ronnie Sinkovich, cousin of the bride.

Mrs. Gartland graduated from Seton Hill College with a bachelor’s degree in biology and from Ohio State University with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is a pharmacist for Walgreens.

Mr. Gartland earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems at Youngstown State University. He is an infrastructure specialist with the state of Ohio in Youngstown.

After a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii, the couple live in Poland.
