Niles SCOPE Senior Center, 14 E. State St, has planned the following: Monday, bridge at 10 a.m., Arthritis Foundation exercise, 11 a.m. ($1), quilting and player’s choice cards at 1 p.m., Monday Night Cards includes sandwich and salad, 4-8 p.m. ($2), weight loss support group, 5-8 p.m.; Tuesday, lunch ($3 for members, $4 for others) 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., arthritis aerobics, 12:30 p.m. ($1), pinochle, 2:30 p.m., boccie at Waddell Park, 6 p.m.; Wednesday, chair yoga, 10 a.m. ($1), lunch, 11:30 a.m. ($3 for members, $4 for others), bingo, Texas Hold’em, 1 p.m., cards, 2:30 p.m.; Thursday, line dancing, 9:30 a.m. ($3), lunch, 11:30 a.m., ($3 members, $4 others), bowling at McKinley Lanes, pinochle, and bridge, 1 p.m.; Friday, free art class, 10 a.m., arthritis exercise, 11 a.m. ($1), salad and sandwich, 11:30 a.m. ($2), hand and foot card game, Jo-Ba, and more card games, pool table, piano and television available when not in conflict with other activities, 1 p.m.

Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: Monday, Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 8:30, chair yoga at 10 and bridge at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting, computer class at 10 and noon, and Digital Club at 2; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m. and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and Woodcarvers at 9 a.m., exercise at noon, line dancing at 1 p.m. and beginner line dancing at 2; and Friday, board games and parties. Special events: Wednesday, Austintown Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with visiting physician as speaker; Thursday, Mountaineer trip; and Aug. 7 Senior Health Fair sponsored by the Sheriff’s Department at Emmanuel Community Church, Austintown.
